Across the Political Divide Workshop
Monday, October 1st, The Dalles Library, 6:30 – 8pm 

What do conservatives and liberals have in common?  We decided that answer was too hard! So instead this workshop looks at the differences, how to value them and how to gain a bit more understanding as we live beside each other in the Gorge. Gratitude Art Project
Tuesday, October 16th, The Dalles Library, 6 – 8pm
Gratitude is one of the key principles of the Gorge Happiness Month. Jenny Loughmiller, local artist and founder of two gratitude projects: the Hundred Hearts Project and the Million Hearts Project will give a presentation on the life changing power of gratitude. Participants will get to participate in the Million Hearts Project by decorating a heart for someone they are grateful for. The heart will eventually tour the world as part of a traveling gratitude installation. www.hundredheartsproject.org

Culture of Appreciation Workshop

This free experiential training is designed to help supervisors, managers and HR professionals will learn how to give simple, easy and effective appreciation & will leave with a personalized plan for their workplace that can help double productivity.
